BiggestEnergySaver.com is a part of the Biggest Energy SaverSM Campaign. Launched in June 2011, the Biggest Energy Saver Campaign will spark development of new apps that will help customers easily understand and use information from their smart meters. It will also reward customers who make the most of their smart meter data to reduce their energy usage and potentially lower their electric bills. The campaign will feature a customer-savings contest, a software applications contest and the Biggest Energy Saver online community.
BiggestEnergySaver.com is an online community that will encourage customers to engage in conversations about smart meters and how to use smart technology to reduce their electricity consumption, control their electric costs and make a positive impact on the environment.
The Biggest Energy Saver Contests and BiggestEnergySaver.com are operated by Grid21. The founding partners of the Biggest Energy Saver Campaign include Oncor, CenterPoint Energy, IBM, Landis+Gyr, Itron, GE and San Diego Gas & Electric.
